Encaustic

Encaustic, my latest way of having fun with photographs,  is painting with wax. Typically, I print my images on Japanese rice paper and them embed my them onto a substrate with hot wax. I embellish with oil paints, pigment sticks, transfers and stencils so each piece is unique! Sizes vary.
